PBA Held a Groundbreaking Ceremony for Showcase Home on Friday, November 9, 2007

PASCO COUNTY: Luxury home builder Siebel Falls Homes recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for its Pasco Building Association 2007 Showcase Home at Alsace community in Land O' Lakes. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the 2,645-square-foot home will benefit two worthwhile charities; Mercy Ships and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, both providing necessary mobile medical and dental assistance to the needy.

Alsace offers a "Practical Green" solution for today's living, focusing on energy efficiency and renewable resources. One of the top priorities of Gov. Charlie Crist is to support green initiatives. While many home builders are just beginning to see the importance of incorporating green components, Siebel Falls Homes is marking new territory by creating an entirely "green" community. Each of the 19 homes in this intimate, French-inspired neighborhood will include solar hot water, Energy Star appliances, Energy Star lighting and eco-friendly Florida native landscaping.

Participating in this unique event were suppliers, vendors and contractors, all donating labor and materials to the Showcase Home and its represented charities. PBA members, local and state dignitaries and members of the press also were in attendance at the groundbreaking.

Alsace is marketed exclusively by Cornerstone Properties & Investments. Steve Eckhardt, broker/owner of Cornerstone, recently attended the 2007 Green Build Conference, the industry's premiere event held in Chicago.
